Versatile is an upcoming hip
hop artist hailing from Elizabethtown (foultown), NC. He comes from
humble beginnings and expresses his thoughts,
feelings, and struggles through his music. Versatile's love for music began
after his older brother "Realist" was sent to federal prison in 2007. Versatile
looked up to his older brother and the passion he had for making music about the
struggle in the streets. Ever since Realist has been locked up, Versatile has
kept the label 242productions which Realist started, going strong and relevant
in the local area. Versatile wrote flows off and on from 2007 til about 2010
when he decided to put more effort in it and drop a mixtape. Versatile linked up
with another local artist named Cadillac D. They collab on a track called "Gotta
Make It Out" in 2011 and was offered to become a member of the Family/First
M.T.G Productions movement. Versatile dropped his debut mixtape "Versatility
1.5" on 11/6/11 and is currently working on his second project entitled
"Inspiration and Wisdom" which is due to be release spring/summer
2012.
